| COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION 1893 STERLING SOUVENIR SPOON
This is a Demitasse Souvenir spoon of the Womens building at the Columbian Exposition of 1893. On the
front of the handle is a woman sitting on
a seat on top of the world and the words
Columbian Exposition. On the back of the
handle is Patent applied for, a hallmark,
the word sterling, Christopher Columbus,
a coin shaped medalion with a ship and
writing and a sailing ship with 1492 and
1893. It is 4 1/8" long.The workmanship
is unusually fine for a spoon this small.
