| This Hot Water Kettle is marked S KIRK & SON and 11 oz impressed. It is 11 1/4" to the highest point of the handle. It is 11 3/4" from end of rams head to end of opposite rams head. The lid is 3 1/2" in diameter and has a pomegranate finial. The main body is about 8" in diameter. The base is 5 7/8" in diameter. There are Castle scenes, a river, sailing boats, bridges, arches, birds, flowers and scrolls. I have shown you pictures of the rams head handles and the eagle on the spout handle. There is no burner. It is in excellent condition and the handles are firm. From the marks and style this piece was made between 1846 and 1861. |
