| NEW ORLEANS SOUVENIR SPOON
On the front of this spoon is New Orleans in
a banner at the top, then a star, an Indian
and a maiden on either side of a picture of
someone lying down with the sun coming over
the mountains, then a portrait if a man with
Bienville under it, then the Court House
with Court House written under it, then the
Cotton Exchange with Cotton Exchange written
under it, then some Flowers and Lees Monument
with Lee Monument written under it. There
is a light Monogram in the bowl EFB in script.
On the back is City Hall (it doesn't show
up well on the picture), St Louis Cathedral,
Jackson Monument, Old Gateway, and some
trees. All the pictures have their names
printed under them. Then there is Sterling
and Mechanic's Silver Trademark or Hallmark
at the bottom. The spoon is 5 7/8" long. It
is in excellent condition. |
