| PURSE TOP FOR HAND MADE PURSES STERLING
This Purse top is for knit or croched bags
or hand made cloth bags. The expanding top
opens to 5" in diameter. It closes to 1 1/8"
in diameter and the top fits down over it
to lock it in place when closed.
It is marked sterling on
the outside of one of the expanding pieces.
The top is gold washed on the inside and is
dated 1894. The outside of the top has a
monogram. I believe it is Lav but it is so
interlocked that I really can't tell. It is
in wonderful shape only one tiny ding in the
side of the top. It weighs 4 ounces. As you
can see there is a heavy chain to carry the
Purse. |
