| This Pin cushion is marked S. Kirk & Son Co. 925/1000 and 30. It is 5 7/8" in diameter and about 2 1/2" high. The mark denotes manufacture between 1886 and 1925. As you can see the Repousse work is highly reticulated. The hand chased work is crisp and perfect. The under cushion is maroon velvet with leather bottom. It is just shy of 57/8" in diameter. This is a very unusual piece to find and more unusual to find in this size. |
