| These Repousse Salt and pepper are marked with an S for the salt shaker and a P for the pepper shaker, sterling, the Dominick and Haff Trade Mark or Hall mark with D & H and 1886in the mark(date of manufacture) and 196. There is a monogram on the bottom ATW in script. They are 4 3/8" high. The top of the salt is gold washed. There are a couple of scratches where some one tried to pry off the salt lid. It is tight which is what you want so you have to work it back and forth to take it off. Other than that they are perfect. The repousse is unusual work for Dominick and it is beautiful. |
