| This Gravy Boat is marked J. E Caldwell & Co., 204, it has the Frank Smith Logo or Trade Mark, A 925/1000 and sterling. It is 7 5/8 from end of handle to tip of spout. The body is 6" wide and 3 1/2" wide. It is 4 3/4" to top of handle, 4" to highest part of spout and 2 7/8" to lowest part of body. The base is 3 1/4" by 2 1/2". It does have a monogram as you can see. It is an interlocking ELG. It is in excellent condition. Frank Smith Co. manufactured Silver from 1848 to 1930. From the Style of this piece I would say it is from 1900 to 1920 |
