| This reticulated handled dish is marked sterling and 2273. I do not find a maker mark on it. This is a hand made dish. The edge medallions, the grapes, the leaves and vine pieces are all made separately and applied to the base dish.Even the center Medallion was made separately and applied. In the center of each medallion is a winged cupid with a bow and arrow. It sits on four ball feet. It is 9 1/2" long and 7 3/4" wide. The dish itself is 1 1/2" high but to the top of the handle it is about 6 1/4" high. This one is really different and with cupids to boot. |
