Hair Receiver and Dresser Jar by Stieff |

| This a beautiful set. The glass is cut and etched. The designs are exactly as in the picture above. Now I have pictures so you can see them. The lids are marked Stieff Sterling and the two plus signs which denote manufacture in 1923. The Dresser Jar Lid has a 3 after the plus signs and the Hair Receiver has a 5. The Dresser Jar has the Monogram WV on the top and the Hair Receiver has the same monogram on the side of the lid. The lids are 3 1/2" in diameter. The jars are 3 1/8" in diameter at the top, the body is about 4 1/2" in diameter and the bottom is 3" in diameter. Every thing is in excellent condition. "The only thing I find is that when you run your finger around the inside of the jar tops you can feel the slightest roughness (no chips). This is the first I have ever had the glass and sterling set. I think they are beautiful. |
