| This Stieff Rose Bread Tray is marked Stieff Sterling and a 16 in a circle denoting it was made in 1916. It is is 12 1/4" long, 7 5/8" wide and 2" high at the ends. Of course it is hand chased and the design goes from the edge all the way down to the base of the tray. This is some of the most detailed and hand hammered design I have ever seen. It weighs 16 ounces. I have tried to make out the monogram but haven't been able to. It is in Ornate Interlocking Script. Try your luck with the picture. It is in just perfect shape. |
