| This is and English silver Teapot.The Marks on the side are an A With Bros.to the left and ltd to the right in a sideways diamond. Then an anchor, a lion facing left and an E all in shields. The A is Adie Brothers Ltd, 20th Century,Prolific Makers. As far as I can tell the anchor, lion and E are in Cycle VII Birmingham 1929 to1930.It is 8" tall and 9" end of handle to end of spout. It is in excellent condition. The Monogram appears to be CGC ( very fancy ). On the bottom is a square with what appears to be a quill and sterling silver made in England. |
